How to scan a receipt
Attach a photo of the receipt to an expense and let the app read the shop, the total and the date for you. The photo stays with the expense.
Step by step
- Start a new expense and attach the receipt: take a photo or pick one from your library.
- The receipt is read on your phone as soon as it is attached (Pro): the shop, total and date are picked out.
- Check the values and tap Use values. Correct anything that was misread, then save the expense.
Good to know
- Scanning is part of Pro. Other plans can buy a scan pack or watch a short ad for one scan.
- If the photo could not be read, Read with AI tries again on our server; only the text leaves your phone, not the photo.
